- Why a written test?
- Because code is not muscle memory. If you know a language, you don’t need a keyboard to write it: a sharp stick will do.
- Why trick questions?
- Because spotting what is wrong is just as important as knowing what is right.
- Why so few multiple choice options?
- Because the quizzes are a test of your knowledge, not how well you can guess.
- Why a closed-book test?
- Because sometimes you have to know information; you will not always have time to look it up.
- What other resources are available?
- For my students, extra practice quizzes can be found on the D2L system.
